KGF Chapter 2 worldwide box office collection: Here's everything you need to know

KGF Chapter 2 emerged as the highest-grossing movie this year outranking 'India's Biggest Blockbuster' flick RRR. With a continual spree of breaking the box office records of Indian cinema ever, KGF 2 starring Rocking Star Yash as Rocky Bhai, the movie went on to grab the second rank, just behind SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2.

Yash already was among the celebrated and highest-paid Kannada actors, but with KGF, he carved a niche drawing the attention of the audience pan-India. Now, the Kannada actor has become a household name in the north belt with his new identity-Rocky Bhai. 

Movie lovers lauded KGF 2 and it is quite obvious from the worldwide box office collection. Though the number of theatres has reduced, KGF 2 is still running successfully across movie halls in several states even 2 months after its release. The craze for the second installment of the KGF franchise certainly remains unmatched. But, speculations are still on regarding the total box office collection.

As per reports, the total domestic box office collections of KGF 2 stand at Rs. 992 crore approx while the overseas collection is pegged at $27 million. The worldwide box office collection with this estimation stands at Rs 1198 crore. 

However, since there is no centralised box office tracking in India, the right estimation of the box office collection can't be made. With this, there is a chance of over-estimation as well as under-estimation. 

While RRR minted over Rs 900 crore in India and higher collection was reported in Telugu states, KGF 2 performed spectacularly in all regions. Similarly, RRR had a good collection in a specific region in overseas which helped to mint around half of the total collection. But, KGF 2 performed across all regions, making it the real 'India's Biggest Blockbuster'.
