KGF Chapter 3, truth and speculations

KGF Chapter 3 is one of the most anticipated movies that fans are waiting eagerly for. While everyone is waiting for updates on the third instalment of the KGF franchise, the makers have once again hinted at the making, shooting and release of KGF 3. 

Founder of Hombale Films Vijay Kirangandur, who is also the producer of the KGF series, hinted at KGF Chapter 3's making during a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama.

The recent rumours suggested that the makers had plans to start the shooting of KGF 3 in October this year. However, the buzz was busted by the executive producer Karthik Gowda as he clarified in his tweet that Hombale Films won't be starting KGF3 anytime soon.

However, Vijay recently revealed a few details about KGF Chapter 3. During the interview, he was asked if people can expect KGF 3 in cinemas in the coming two-three years.

To this, Vijay said, "It all depends on when both Prashanth Neel and Yash get free. Prashanth is working on Salaar. Yash might start a new project. Both should be free at the same time. Hence, we do not have a fixed timeline."

By now, everyone is aware that KGF fame Prashanth Neel is quite busy with the shooting of Salaar starring Prabhas and Shruti Haasan in the lead. So, he could spare time for KGF 3 only after wrapping up Salaar. Even the works for the third instalment of the KGF franchise could get delayed if Neel gets busy with the recently announced NTR31 with Jr NTR.

On the other hand, recently social media is abuzz that the makers will announce soon about the upcoming project of Yash tentatively titled Yash19. If Yash and Neel get busy with their respective projects, then certainly KGF 3 will get delayed in an unexpected way.

KGF Chapter 3 is all that fans of Yash and movie lovers are eyeing for. Meanwhile, social media is abuzz about the antagonist for the third instalment. 

A few days back rumours were rife that the makers have plans to bring Baahubali fame Rana Daggubati on board as the antagonist. Even the rumours claimed that the makers are in talks with the Baahubali's Bhallaladeva. However, there is no official confirmation supporting the claims.

Following that, buzz once again gained momentum that the makers will rope in Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan for KGF 3. As per the buzz, Duggu may share the screen with the Rocking Star in the third instalment of the KGF franchise. 

Vijay during the interview cleared the air around Roshan’s casting.

Vijay was quoted as saying, "Once we have finalised the dates, we will be in a better position to zero down on the star cast. And when the process to cast other actors begins, it will also hugely depend upon their availability at that time. Everything depends on when the work on the third instalment begins." 

Such a statement from the production house founder and the producer himself certainly has brought clarity. Though rumours are abuzz regarding KGF 3 and the casting, the makers haven't yet decided on it and won't be making a decision soon, as it seems. 

All have to wait until Neel wraps up Salaar and announces soon about commencing works with Yash for KGF Chapter 3.
