Pan-India movie KGF Chapter 2, starring Rocking Star Yash in the lead and Bollywood Superstar Sanjay Dutt as the lead antagonist-Adheera, is raising the heartbeats of fans and movie lovers across the world. Anticipation among all has reached its zenith as helmer Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films are yet to make an announcement regarding the final release date of KGF Chapter 2.
The second instalment of KGF franchise is surrounded by a variety of speculations, especially regarding its final release date. Some buzzes suggest its release in September while some other rumours hint at the release date in October during Dushera.

As per the fresh buzz in social media, the makers are mulling to repeat their old trick which will likely bring back the fetish for KGF 2. Of course, the craze for KGF Chapter 2 is beyond any comparison and makers don't need to produce their trump card to make it a huge success. As the latest buzz suggests, the makers are planning to release KGF Chapter 2 on the same date as KGF Chapter 1, i.e. December 20.
The first instalment of KGF hit the theatres on December 20 in 2018 when Christmas celebrations kicked off across the world. The date turned out to be lucky for all, KGF 1 became a cult movie and the rest is history.
Therefore, KGF Chapter 2 may hit the screens on the same date!
'KGF: Chapter 2' Vs 'Pushpa: The Rise' On Cards!
If the latest buzz is anything to go by, KGF Chapter 2 may witness a clash with another much-awaited movie Pushpa. Icon/Stylish Star Allu Arjun and National Crush Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise is the first instalment of the Pushpa franchise. The makers have also locked for a Christmas release this year.
The craze for Pushpa is also mounting high as the Telugu actor will be seen in a never-before character in the action thriller. The movie will simultaneously release in five languages across India.
Allu Arjun portraying the character of Pushpa Raj was seen in a ferocious look with his unique blend of style which gave goosebumps to all movie lovers. The story of Pushpa is based on true events and revolves around the red sanders smuggling in the hills of Andhra Pradesh. Pushpa Raj is a relentless man who will stop at nothing to beat the odds. The first glance of the film included character revelation of Allu Arjun and his makeover for the film, visuals of forests in Andhra Pradesh with high-end action.
Meanwhile, KGF Chapter 2 is also a multilingual film that will release across the country. KGF 2 is the continuation of the first part- KGF Chapter 1 in which Yash, portraying Rocky Bhai's character, will start building his new empire in Narachi after slaying off Garuda in the first part. KGF 2 will also show his violent clash with Adheera, Inayath Khalil, Ramika Sen and the govt officials.
The action-packed movie was earlier scheduled to release on July 16 which was later postponed owing to the pandemic situation across the country. However, the makers haven't yet raised the curtains over the final release date of KGF Chapter 2.
High action-packed movies like KGF Chapter 2 and Pushpa are meant for silver screen only and as clarified earlier by the KGF makers, they are waiting for the opening of cinema halls. Considering the current situation and unlocking process across the country, the makers must now, at least, make the most anticipated announcement of KGF Chapter 2 release date.
However, all need to wait for an official announcement for the same and stay away from rumours.
