Jr NTR starrer Devara on record-breaking spree, crosses Rs 100 crore mark on Day 1

After the stupendous success of RRR, young Tollywood tiger Jr NTR is back and how! Devara Part 1 hit the theatres on September 27 and is already shattering records. It looks like the Koratala Siva-directorial is here to make some massive box office business.

The high-octane action drama has already crossed the Rs 100 crore worldwide collection on its opening day. Also starring Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, the Jr NTR film has taken a flying start at the box office.

As per Money Control, Devara has made around Rs 140 crore with its worldwide collection. As per the report, the Telugu version made a whopping Rs 68.6 crore while the Hindi version made around Rs 7 crore. The Kannada version made Rs 0.3 crore with the Tamil version making Rs 0.8 crore and the Malayalam version made Rs 0.3 crore.

With this, the domestic collection of the film by the end of its first day stands at Rs 77 crore approximately. The remaining is from the overseas market, reports said.

Going by its craze, the film is expected to earn a lot more in the coming weekend. Well, the film has surely taken a good start and the future seems bright. The Tollywood tiger is a huge star and his craze is beyond the Telugu film industry.

His craze is so much that an event in Hyderabad had to be cancelled as the turnout of the fans was humongous, much more than the capacity of the venue. This says it all about his stardom!
