Fans are well aware that Jr Bachchan and Aish met on the sets of the film 'Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke.' But, their friendship blossomed into love after working together in Dhoom 2 and Guru. Reportedly, the Paa actor proposed to Aish during a family dinner at the Bachchan residence on January 14, 2007. He presented her with a customised ring and she accepted it. They tied the knot on April 20, 2007.

Earlier, on the popular celebrity talk show Koffee With Karan, Abhishek revealed that Karan Johar played a cupid for them.
When the filmmaker jokingly asked for one per cent of credit for their marriage, Abhishek revealed that he indeed played a Cupid for them.
The Dasvi actor said, "Karan was the cupid who kept planting the idea in my head, saying, ‘You know, she’s fantastic. You two would look so wonderful together. She looks so glamorous in the house when she walks down the staircase.’ Thank you, Karan, for all the assistance."
On the work front, Abhishek will be next seen in Be Happy, also starring Inayat Varma. The Yuva actor is also roped in for Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan's King. While Be Happy, a dance drama delves into the story of a single father and his daughter, King is an action-thriller.
