Is Vicky Kaushal joining Ranbir Kapoor in Dhoom 4 and Alia Bhatt in Alpha?

The entry of Ranbir Kapoor in YRF's Dhoom franchise has elevated the excitement among all. While earlier reports claimed that RK will be portraying the role of antagonist, recent reports claim that the makers are considering South actors for antagonist. Though there is no official confirmation backing the claims, fans wonder about the Brahmastra actor's character. Amid this, recently, reports have surfaced that Vicky Kaushal is in talks with Yash Raj Films (YRF) and might join Ranbir in Dhoom 4. Moreover, the report also suggests that Vicky may also enter YRF's Spy Universe with Alia Bhatt's Alpha.

According to a recent report by Peeping Moon, Vicky Kaushal has already met filmmaker Aditya Chopra and he is eager to cast the Sam Bahadur actor not in one project but two. 

The report quoted a close source claiming that Aditya is planning to rope in Vicky as a cop, replacing Abhishek Bachchan, who portrayed the role of ACP Jai Dixit in three instalments of the Dhoom franchise. Well, if the reports are anything to go by, Vicky will be seen chasing Ranbir in Dhoom Reloaded.

Furthermore, the source also talked about Vicky being considered for YRF's Spy Universe. 

The source was quoted as saying, "Aditya has grand plans for expanding the YRF Spy Universe and aims to introduce fresh faces to carry forward the legacy established by the Khans."

Aditya wants Vicky to headline one of the standalone movies under the Spy Universe, the source revealed.

"However, this is still in the planning stages, as they are waiting to see how ‘Alpha’, the film introducing Alia Bhatt and Sharvari to the Spy Universe, performs at the box office," the source added.

Well, if everything falls into place, Vicky might have a cameo in Alia Bhatt-led Alpha.

However, fans need to wait for an official update from the makers.

If the reports are anything to go by, Vicky's collaboration with Ranbir and Alia would be enthralling as the trio will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War. Moreover, Vicky has worked alongside Ranbir and Alia in other movies, separately.
