Is Bollywood playing dirty with Ranveer Singh?

Ranveer Singh’s last major release was Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani with Alia Bhatt. This Karan Johar-produced and directed movie was hit but failed to boost the career graph of Ranveer Singh. Although he was also seen in a cameo in Singham Again, the actor did not benefit from it either. After his few movies- Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Cirkus and 83 flopped badly, the aura and stardom around the name Ranveer Singh has taken a hit.

And in Bollywood what is successful is only talked about, discussed, and welcomed. While a few years earlier Ranveer Singh ’s flashy dress and his appearances were largely discussed among celebrities and on social media platforms, nowadays he is rarely seen at such events and even if he does attend them the spotlight is not on him.

Is Bollywood purposely ignoring Ranveer Singh?

Ranveer Singh has proven multiple times that he is an amazing actor. He has given some big blockbusters like Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram - Leela, Bajrao Mastani, Simmba, Padmaavat, Gully Boy, and many others. Even then with just a few flops, Bollywood seems to be eager to write him off.

His fans feel that some of the A-listers have a hidden agenda behind ignoring Ranveer Singh which is why despite multiple flops a few actors continue to get respect and good projects whereas the Cirkus actor is struggling to get big banners.

Currently he is working with Uri-fame Aditya Dhar in Dhurandhar and also has Don 3 in his kitty. But he does not have big project from renowned production houses like Yash Raj Films or Dharma Productions in his kitty as of now. Despite being such a versatile actor he has not been offered a role in YRF’s spyverse or even in Dhoom 4.

Rather Bollywood is rooting for aging superstars like Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor to do such big, happening roles. But no one is talking about Ranveer Singh and his work. And that is why many of his die-hard fans are asking whether Bollywood has forgotten or is trying to side-line Ranveer Singh for some reason or the other?
