Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt and her mother Soni Razdan have brought yet another amusing episode to their YouTube series 'In My Mama's Kitchen'. The latest installment, released on Monday and compellingly titled 'Burnt my hand for this one', saw Alia experiencing a small kitchen accident whilst making an apple crumble.
In the opening moments of the video, Soni Razdan is seen gathering ingredients for the dessert, whilst Alia expresses her eagerness to steer the culinary activity.
As the cooking session continued, Alia questioned who would indulge in the dessert. Soni light-heartedly suggested, “I think we'll send some to Shaheen, some for Raha, and you better get it out of my house because I don’t need any more sweets this month. I've had my fill.”
While sampling the fresh apple crumble, Alia inadvertently touches the hot tray, resulting in a minor burn to her hand. The spontaneous "Mumma" from Alia after getting burnt was met with affection by viewers who praised their close-knit relationship.
Fans of the series expressed their delight in the mother-daughter dynamic, looking forward to seeing more candid culinary adventures.
One viewer commented, "That 'Mumma' from Alia was pure bliss," while another observed, "Seeing Alia and her mother's bond is delightful; Alia seems like a little child around her mum, it’s so endearing."
“Fav mother-daughter duo. And in future, Raha might join them,” noted one enthusiastic follower. Another quipped, “Alia, only your second recipe video and you’ve already made a mishap, but it's all in good fun.”
Professionally, Alia Bhatt is poised to captivate audiences in 'Love and War', teaming up with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-stars Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. This film underscores Alia's evolving collaboration with Bhansali, following their successful venture with 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' in 2022. The film's release garners keen anticipation from her devoted fan base.
In addition, Bhatt is slated to feature in Shiv Rawail's 'Alpha', enhancing the Yash Raj Films' acclaimed spy universe, with a planned release on 25 December.
