Sony TV's musical reality show Indian Idol Season 12 remains on the favourite list of viewers ever since it was first aired on television. Amid judgment controversies, the show is now heading for the grand finale.
With few more weeks of the show being left, speculations are rife over the date of the finale episode of the music reality show.
Indian Idol season 12 is on air since November 2020. According to media reports, the show is going to air its final episode on August 15.

Recently, the show was marred with controversies over doctored judgements. The singing reality show first came into the eye of the storm after Amit Kumar claimed that the Indian Idol 12 team had asked him to praise the contestants irrespective of their singing quality.
Subsequently, Sunidhi Chauhan and Salim Merchant revealed that they were also asked not to say anything negative to contestants when they were judging Indian Idol.
Bollywood playback singer Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and music composer and singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya are judging the season 12 of Indian Idol while Aditya Narayan is hosting the reality show.
