Hera Pheri 3: Akshay Kumar offered Paresh Rawal a lucrative deal, but...
The legal battle between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal over the latter's abrupt exit from Hera Pheri 3 has kept fans on their toes. While fans are anxiously waiting for the outcome, according to a recent report, Akki offered Paresh 'three times his regular fee' for Hera Pheri 3. Despite that, the Sanju actor exited abruptly causing chaos.
According to the latest report by News 18, Akshay Kumar was adamant about making the third instalment after acquiring the rights from the makers for Rs 10 crore. Reportedly, he agreed to move forward after Paresh's nod. However, the veteran actor's sudden exit put everything into disarray. Despite that, as a producer, Akki offered Paresh a lucrative deal. He agreed to pay him three times his regular fee. However, Paresh opted to withdraw from the project.
The report quoted a close source to the development as saying, "He (Paresh) had said yes. He had also recently wrapped up Bhooth Bangla with Akshat. Everything was moving smoothly until 15-20 days ago."
The source further added, "Akshay even agreed to pay him three times his regular remuneration. And that was finalised. Still, Rawal suddenly backed out."
During the promotions of his upcoming Housefull 5, Akki was asked about Paresh's abrupt exit from Hera Pheri 3. To this, Akki defended Paresh and said that they are still 'very good friends' and that he admires him as an actor. Moreover, he also refused to talk about the controversy.
Akki said, "I’ve worked with him since the last 30 years. 32 saal see unke saath kaam karte aya hoon. We are very good friends. He is a great actor. I really admire him. I don’t think this is a place where I am going to talk about it. Because whatever has to happen — it is a very serious matter — it is a matter that is going to be handled by the court. I don’t think I’m going to speak about it here."
