'All issues will be laid to rest': Paresh Rawal's 'rightful exit' from Hera Pheri 3 post adds fuel to feud

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal's abrupt exit from the much-awaited Hera Pheri 3 undeniably disheartened many. While the senior actor was tight-lipped over Akshay Kumar's production house, Cape of Good Films, sending him a legal notice, reports surfaced that he returned the signing amount. Despite that, fans were hopeful about his return to the franchise. However, a recent statement by the Welcome Back actor has added fuel to the feud.

In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Paresh Rawal wrote, "My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit. Once they read my response all issues will be laid to rest." (sic)

Well, this post has triggered mixed responses from netizens. While many have opined 'No Baburao, No Hera Pheri' and are hopeful about his return, several others have expressed their surprise over his feud with Akshay Kumar.

It is pertinent to mention here that Paresh Rawal's response comes after reports surfaced that he has returned the signing amount of Rs 11 lakh with 15 per cent interest p.a. Even, reports claimed that the actor returned a little more money for stepping away from the series.

How Will This Feud Unfold?

Notably, a lawyer representing Cape of Good Films recently said that Paresh Rawal will face several legal consequences for his decision to exit abruptly from Hera Pheri 3. Further, the lawyer divulged about the expenses that have been incurred for the cast, crew, leading senior actors, logistics equipment, and trailer shooting. Pooja Tidke, Joint Managing Partner of Parinam Law Associate, also said that there's reputational damage involved for the actors who are committed to the film, and the franchise as a whole. However, she also said that they are optimistic that things work out.

The Sanju actor was given seven days to respond to the legal notice. And now, he has responded clearly stating that his lawyers are getting involved in the case.

Well, only time will tell where this feud leads to.
