Raju, Ghanshyam aka Shyam, and Baburao Ganapatrao Apte aka Babu Bhaiya are the souls of the beloved Hera Pheri franchise. Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal had already kickstarted the journey for the third instalment, Hera Pheri 3, with Priyadarshan triggering excitement among all.

Reportedly, Paresh Rawal once took a moment to reflect on his iconic role as Babu Bhaiya, from the Hera Pheri franchise. The veteran actor revealed why the iconic character holds a special place in his heart. The Welcome Back actor described his iconic character of Babu Bhaiya as having an RK Laxman and Chaplin kind of characterisation.

During a conversation With ETimes, when the Sanju actor was asked if he would be open to a spinoff centred around Babu Bhaiya, Paresh expressed his enthusiasm for the idea. As the veteran actor shared, he believes that it would be fascinating to see Baburao placed in different settings to explore how the character adapts and shines.

Further describing his character of Baburao from the Hera Pheri franchise, Paresh said that it is a truly unique character with a blend of qualities reminiscent of both RK Laxman's sharp wit and Charlie Chaplin's timeless charm.

Paresh was quoted as saying, "Why not? It would be interesting to put Baburao against different backdrops to see how he excels. I think it is a unique character in all aspects. He has all the qualities in him. He has an RK Laxman and Chaplin kind of characterisation."
