FACT CHECK: Toxic star Yash in Maha Kumbh Mela with family! Here's the TRUTH
Millions of Hindu devotees from across the world are thronging at Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj to attend the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela and take a holy dip in the Sangam. While social media is getting flooded with videos of several celebrities from Bollywood, recently, a video of Toxic star Yash has been doing rounds on the internet. In the viral video, Yash is seen with his family in Maha Kumbh Mela, including his wife and kids. However, the truth is something else.
KGF fame Yash's video with his family doing rounds on social media shows the Kannada Rocking Star walking alongside his wife Radhika Pandit. While Yash carries his son in arms, Radhika is seen walking while holding their daughter's hand. The star couple is escorted by police and bodyguard to his vehicle. Several fans of Rocky Bhai can be seen following him clicking pictures and recording videos. Even the Kannada actor poses for a few pictures.
However, the circulating video is not recent. It is an old video from Mumbai from last year. The video was shot in November 2024. Yash was spotted with his family after he had shot for Toxic.
While several people believed the fake claims, a few pointed out the truth. Apart from the claims made by some users confirming it was an old video, a PTI Fact Check report also confirmed that the circulating video is old and Yash didn't visit Prayagraj.
A couple of days ago, the leading lady of the KGF series attended the grand religious event. However, she had put on a mask to cover her face. Despite that, she got identified and pictures as well as videos of the actress went viral on social media. Following that, Srinidhi herself confirmed her visit and shared some pictures and videos.
Even actress Tamannaah Bhatia, who appeared alongside Yash in a special number of KGF: Chapter 1 (except Hindi), also marked her presence in the grand religious event.
