Disha Vakani’s name is synonymous with Dayaben from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. The actress left the show in 2017 when she was expecting her first child and since then has not returned.
Incidentally, the producer Asit Modi has replaced most of the characters including Anjali Mehta, Shailesh Lodha, Gurucharan Singh, Bhavya Gandhi, and others. But he is yet to find a replacement for Disha Vakani who has been away from the show for almost 5 years now.
Not only Asit Kumarr Modi but also the fans of the show are very much eager to see Disha Vakani return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Recently, a video clip of Disha with her husband and two children performing pooja in shiv mandir went viral on the web. The moment this video clip surfaced on the net, fans of the show and Disha started making comments requesting the actress to return to TMKOC.
Incidentally, Disha is a very private person and her whereabouts are rarely known. Despite being a leading television actress, she is never papped on a regular basis because both Disha and her husband Mayur like to live a low-profile life. So it is very rare that such bites from Disha’s life find a way on the internet.
While as usual Disha has not responded to any of these demands on social media as she is not active on the web, it once again confirms that fans want the actress to return as Dayaben and have been missing her in the show. Earlier it was reported that Disha was ready to make her comeback but had to hold back her return due to Corona and then her second baby was born.
Rumours also suggested that the husband of Disha had laid down certain conditions like the actress will work only for restricted hours and demanded a big pay hike. Since this did not go down well with the producer, her comeback on TMKOC could not happen.
