A video from a recent Coldplay concert has gone viral after lead singer Chris Martin unknowingly shone a light on what appears to be a tech executive’s secret relationship. The man in question was soon identified as Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, who was seen with his arms around a woman later revealed to be Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer.

During the show in Boston, Martin engaged with the audience and playfully highlighted the couple, not realizing the moment would ignite speculation about a workplace affair. As the Kiss Cam lingered on them, Martin quipped, “Oh look at these two,” prompting Byron to swiftly drop his arm from Cabot and attempt to hide his face behind a barrier.

Cabot, caught in the spotlight, covered her face with her hands as the crowd erupted in laughter. Martin added humorously, “Oh… either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Byron’s LinkedIn states he has led the software company since July 2023, while Cabot’s profile describes her as building trust across all levels of the organization, from executives to assistants.

The viral clip sparked a flurry of reactions on social media. One user commented, “That’s going to be tough to explain at home.”

Another said, “Feel bad for the wife, but at least they’ve been exposed.” A third joked, “Looks like HR policies might get a quick update.” Others joined in, with one quipping, “A Coldplay concert might be grounds for divorce on multiple counts.”
