Atlee to make big announcement for a Hollywood project; speaks on working with SRK next

South India’s famous director Atlee Kumar had announced that he would be working on a Hollywood project much before work on Jawan started. Now the director has come up with a fresh update on his dream to direct a Hollywood film. Indian Express has said that Atlee seemed confident that in the next three years, his dream project in Hollywood would materialise. He also re-confirmed his promise of providing maximum entertainment to the audiences who invest their money and time to watch his movies.

During an interview, Atlee said, “I have been genuine to my promise. I have kept my responsibility the same. In the future, if I ever make a Hollywood film, I will do the same.” When asked whether he is planning to work in Hollywood soon, Atlee said, “Yes, it’s happening. It took me eight years to reach Bollywood… maybe in the next three years, you will see something there with a great announcement. I am working on it.”

Earlier in October 2023 the Jawan director had said that he was in discussion with a Hollywood Studio and introduced himself as a director who has made a few Tamil movies. Although they do understand that he is a national filmmaker they do not understand the difference between Tamil and national filmmaking.

Shah Rukh Khan’s stardom has contributed hugely to making Jawan a big blockbuster. The movie had some knocking and impressively visualised high-action sequences. In an interview earlier Altee had revealed how certain action scenes in Jawan developed by a Hollywood VFX team had caught the eye of some of the big studios in Hollywood who said that if Atlee wanted to work in Western cinema they would welcome him.

On working with Shah Rukh Khan again, Atlee said that he would work with the Badshah again but as of now, he has not penned a script. Atlee promised that once he cracks it he will approach the Bollywood superstar.
