'Anari' Saif Ali Khan turns 'Khiladi' after stabbing incident! Akshay Kumar announces 'Tu Khiladi'

While everyone expressed concerns for the Devara actor, many praised his bravery in protecting his family during the shocking burglary attempt. Well, Khiladi star Akshay Kumar heaped praises on his 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' co-star during the promotion of his upcoming movie 'Sky Force'.

The recent incident of Saif Ali Khan's stabbing shocked entire Bollywood fraternity and the actor's fandom. While everyone expressed concerns for the Devara actor, many praised his bravery in protecting his family during the shocking burglary attempt. Well, Khiladi star Akshay Kumar heaped praises on his 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' co-star during the promotion of his upcoming movie 'Sky Force'. 

A short clip from the event has gone viral on social media in which Akki praised Saif and hinted at the probable title of the film if they work together.

Akki said, "It's very nice that he is safe. It's very good. We are happy. The whole industry is happy that he is safe. It was very brave of him that he protected his family and hats off to him."

He added, "Maine uske saath ek film ki hai Main Khiladi Tu Anari lekin agli baar agar hum karenge toh banayenge film Tu Khiladi." (I did a film with him called Main Khiladi Tu Anari, but next time if we do a film together, we'll make it Tu Khiladi)."

Notably, in the 1994 film Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Akshay was portrayed as the 'Khiladi' while Saif played the 'Anari'. After his bravery during the stabbing incident, Saif has indeed become a real-life 'Khiladi'.

The duo has worked together in a couple of other movies including Tashan, Aarzoo, Tu Chor Mein Sipahi and Yeh Dillagi.

However, it's been over two decades now since the duo shared screen space. Fans certainly can't wait to see them together in action with a blend of bone-tickling comedy. Fans can just hope for an end to their long wait.
