Allu Arjun's Pushpa 2 postponed again? Buzz about producers going berserk leaves fans upset

It has been around three years since Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa: The Rise was released in India. It was one of the biggest Indian hits after theaters opened post-Corona pandemic. The swag of Bunny as Pushpa and Rashoo’s Srivalli became a rage nationwide with Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s “O O Antava” item number giving her pan Indian recognition.

For the last couple of years, fans are eagerly waiting for Allu Arjun to return with his iconic, “Zhukega nahi sala” and “Flower nahi fire hai” kind of dialogues. But it has taken just too long for the movie’s sequel to release. While earlier it was scheduled to be released in August this year, now the date has been shifted to December 6, 2024.

However, the way there have been reports about a possible tiff between Allu Arjun, and Sukumar, many people are thinking that Pushpa 2 will be delayed further. The producers are just worried about the fate of the sequel and a few netizens have claimed that they have already gone berserk with all this drama.

Unlike Baahubali or Kalki 2898 AD, Pushpa: The Rise is a full-on commercial, masala entertainer with not much work required on VFX or CGI. So there is no reason why it should have taken so much time to release. If the sequel gets delayed further the makers will not be able to cash on the success of the first movie.

Puspha continues to be one of the biggest franchises after Baahubali, KGF and now Kalki 2898 AD, and the sequel is expected to turn out as one of the biggest blockbusters of all time. However, the animosities between the team and delays may ruin the possibilities of its huge success.

Interestingly while the delay in the release of Pushpa 2 might affect the pan India stardom of Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna may not be very affected as she has already delivered a big hit Animal with Ranbir Kapoor and next will be seen in Chhaava with Vicky Kaushal.
