Pushpa 2 in big mess; Allu Arjun, Sukumar tiff leading to delays in shooting?

Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule is the most awaited movie of this year. While earlier it was scheduled to hit the theaters on August 15, much to the dismay of the fans it will now come almost 4 months later on December 6, 2024. The first movie from the franchise titled Pushpa: The Rise, released in December 2021. So the sequel has taken three years to hit the screen which has surprised many fans.

Even the sequel of Baahubali which had a lot of VFX and technicalities was released just two years apart from the first movie. So what is taking team of Pushpa 2 so long to complete the project? Although Corona pandemic was still going strong around 2022, the makers had two long years to complete Pushpa: The Rise which already has a storyline, most of the star cast, and the musical score finalised.

Surprisingly multiple reports about tiff between the lead actor Allu Arjun and director Sukumar are now doing rounds on the online media portals and news channels. There have been rumours that due to unscheduled breaks, the hero aka Bunny got irritated which is why he cut his beard and went on a holiday with his family.

In protest, the director went on a holiday to the USA and now the hero has again gone on a holiday to Europe. The shooting cannot start until his beard has grown as is appropriate for the Pushpa Raj character. Now the director has returned from holiday and Allu Arjun is also expected to reach Hyderabad in a couple of days. So most probably the shooting will start in the coming week and the team will wrap up Pushpa 2 by September.

All these are speculations and rumours that are currently doing rounds in the media. Now a news portal has said that if the team of Allu Arjun and Sukumar wants to complete and release Pushpa: The Rule this year then they need to have better co-ordination and planning. If all these rumours have even a tiny bit of truth then the sequel is truly at present in mess and that may lead to big disappointment for its fans.
