It means that the Bollywood actress has not joined the trend of Bollywood celebs who are now happily choosing to repeat their dresses, shoes, and accessories.

Alia Bhatt set an example a couple of months ago when she repeated her wedding saree to accept the National Award this year. She was jointly declared the Best Actress National Award for Gangubai Kathiawadi along with Kriti Sanon who won it for Mimi. Undoubtedly, her pictures and video clips accepting the award, sitting quietly with Ranbir Kapoor in the hall for her name to be announced were eagerly watched.

But what was most discussed was the saree that she wore. It was the same saree that she had draped for her marriage to Ranbir more than a year ago. Before that Alia in one of her interviews also said that she likes to repeat her dresses as one needs to think about environmental sustainability.

This stand of Alia seems to have impressed the younger generation as Suhana Khan appreciated her during one of her interviews. The Archies actor said, “If Alia Bhatt can re-wear her wedding saree then we can also repeat an outfit for a party. We don't need to buy a new outfit. We don't realise that making new garments creates waste which impacts our biodiversity and environment. So, it's very important."

And it seems to have also impressed her colleague and The Archies co-actor Khushi Kapoor who wore a gown of her mother Sridevi during The Archies screening. Well, it can be more for emotional reasons than for the environment but one thing is sure the Bollywood girls are sending the right message with these choices.
