Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan have earlier teamed up for several hit flicks including Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi, Tu Chor Main Sipahi, Keemat and Tashan. The audience loved their camaraderie on screen. Well, now 'Khiladi' and 'Anari' are all set to reunite after 17 years and recreate the magic of their 'jugalbandi' on-screen. The latest report suggests that Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan will join forces with Priyadarshan.

Akshay and Saif To Collab With Priyadarshan

According to an exclusive report by HT City, Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are set to collaborate with Priyadarshan for a thriller movie.

A source revealed to the news portal that both Akshay and Saif immediately gave a nod to the project after reading the script.

The report quoted a close source as saying, "Akshay and Saif have always enjoyed working with each other and admired each other’s work. The moment they read the script, they knew they were on board."

Further, talking about the movie, the source revealed that it will be a nail-biting and entertaining thriller that will leave the audience on the edge of their seats. To be helmed by Priyadarshan, the movie is set to roll on the floors this year starting in August and is slated for release in 2026.

Anari As Khiladi!

Notably, following the Saif Ali Khan's stabbing incident, Akki showered praises on his Main Khiladi Tu Anari co-star, during the promotions of Sky Force earlier this year. He also hinted at the probable title of the film if they work together. Akki suggested that the movie's title should be 'Tu Khiladi'.

According to the latest buzz, it seems, both Akki and Saif will be seen in action in the thriller flick with a gripping storyline.
