Akshay Kumar broke many hearts when he walked out of Hera Pheri 3. The trio of Akshay, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal are synonymous with the Hera Pheri franchise and die-hard comedy fans simply cannot imagine the third installment from this hit franchise without Akshay playing the hilarious and grumpy Raju.
When the news of Akshay walking out of Hera Pheri 3 hit the headlines many speculated that Khiladi Kumar had turned down the movie because of a payment disagreement. However, that was never the case as the Ram Setu actor has always been aware of the significance of a new movie from the hit franchise. That is why he wanted his character and the entire movie to be made on a solid concept with a good script to support it. Contrarily, Akshay Kumar was not impressed with the storyline for the third installment and hence decided to exit.

The producer, later on, went ahead and signed Kartik Aaryan in place of Akshay Kumar . Koki is the latest hot favourite among the young generation and many were happy to see him on board Hera Pheri 3. But even then Akshay has made the character of Raju immortal and that is why everyone was hoping that some miracle will happen and the Bollywood superstar will return to the franchise.
Now reports are that Firoz Nadiadwala, the producer of Hera Pheri 3 has decided to reinitiate the talks with the Airlift actor and make changes in the script according to the demands of Akshay wherever possible so that the original Raju can be a part of HP3. Firoz is keen to make things work this time and has met Akshay Kumar a couple of times in the last few days.
Fans desperately want Akshay to reprise Raju in the third installment and this pressure has forced Firoz Nadiadwala to approach the Bollywood superstar again.
