Shraddha Kapoor completed her 15 years of journey in Bollywood recently. The actress has suddenly become a hot property after Stree 2 became the biggest hit of 2024 and now has stellar line up of good movies under her kitty.

Shraddha Kapoor’s Bollywood debut went flat

The actress made her debut in the Hindi film industry with Teen Patti but the movie bombed and Shraddha Kapoor ’s career received a big jolt even before it had begun. After that it was Vishesh Films Aashiqui 2 with Aditya Roy Kapur that brought her career back on the track. And since then she had been pretty steady with her success ratio although there have been a few hiccups.

Although Shraddha Kapoor could not match the level of success and appreciation that Alia Bhatt received all these years she pretty much still is holding her grounds and attracting good project and one of the big reasons is because she is an insider from Bollywood.

When Shraddha Kapoor revealed how connections got her good projects

Haider was one of the important movies of Shraddha Kapoor’s career. She was very much eager to work with Vishal Bhardwaj. Talking about the same the actress during one of her interviews said, “Haider what happened was I told Shahid that I heard that he was working with Vishal Sir. And I told him like can you put in a word for me. So Vishal Sir met me then and that is how Haider happened.”

So Shraddha got this movie without much hard work or auditions. She also revealed, “Well for Ek Villain Mohit (Suri) came home and I just told him that take me in every film of yours. And he was like do you want to hear it and I was like no.”

“Then for ABCD 2 Varun went to Remo Sir and told him that he had seen me dancing as a child and all the crazy dance at parties, birthday parties we would have kids. And I am sure that Remo Sir would also want someone who can dance also. So I said that I will dance for you and that is how ABCD 2 happened"  she added.

Both Ek Villain and ABCD 2 are important movies in the career of Shraddha Kapoor . The Baaghi actress also revealed that she years ago sort of semi-auditioned for Sanjay Leela Bhansali once and is dying to work with him.
