Shraddha Kapoor in all films under Maddock Supernatural Universe! Unimpressed fans opine 'Boring'

Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor scripted history with 2024's blockbuster flick Stree 2. Also starring Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in key roles, the movie also had cameos of Varun Dhawan, Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia. While fans expected to see Shraddha in Stree 3, the latest reports suggest that she might be a part of all films under Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Following Varun Dhawan's cameo in Stree 2 as Bhaskar aka Bhediya, fans expected that Shraddha might have a cameo in Bhediya 2. However, according to the latest reports, Shraddha might be a part of all other seven movies of the horror-comedy universe.

During an interview with The Nod Magazine, Shraddha opened up about her films for the next five years. The Stree actress during the conversation teased that she will be busy with Thama for Diwali and then with Shakti Shalini around the new year. She also revealed that she will be busy with other films in the horror-comedy Universe. However, details about her characters or connections with the movies have been kept under wraps.

Fans Unimpressed!

While the development has excited many, several others seem to be unimpressed. Expressing their disappointment over the reports of Shraddha joining all the films under Maddock Supernatural Universe, many opined that things would get boring.

Reacting to the report, a Reddit user commented, "Yawn. Boring." (sic)

Another user wrote, "Is she Nick Fury of Horror-verse?" (sic)

"Either she’s the real Thanos of the horror universe or she’s gonna bring the entire team together," wrote another user. (sic)

Another wrote, "As she should? At this point she is the OG of the universe from a folklore standpoint." (sic)

However, fans need to wait for an official announcement from the makers about Shraddha's inclusion in all movies of the Maddock Supernatural Universe (MSU), India's biggest and most successful cinematic franchise.

Stree 2 became the highest-grossing Hindi film of all time and the first Hindi film to cross the Rs 600 crore mark at the global box office. Following the mammoth success, Maddock Films announced an exciting lineup of movies under Maddock Supernatural Universe including Thama, Shakti Shalini, Bhediya 2, Chamunda, Stree 3, Maha Munjya, Pehla Mahayudh and Doosara Mahayudh for the next four years.

Earlier in January, producer Dinesh Vijan revealed that Akshay Kumar is not done with Stree World and will return in Stree 3. Apart from confirming Akki's return in the third instalment, Dinesh also said that Akshay Kumar is 'Thanos' of MSU.
