The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) on Saturday announced the results of Plus 2 Arts and Vocational courses.

While announcing the results, School and Mass Education Minister, Samir Ranjan Dash said that a total of 2, 20,081 students including 1,89, 363 regular students had appeared in the Plus 2 Arts stream.

Out of them, 1,96, 959 students including 1,86,685 regular students have passed in the Arts stream this year. The total pass percentage stands at 89.49 percent.

Dash informed that as many as 30, 685 students have secured First division, 46, 563 students have passed in Second and 1, 19, 505 students cleared the annual Plus 2 examination in Third division in Arts stream.

Girl students have outshined boys in Plus 2 Arts stream. While the total pass percentage of girl students stands at 92.34 percent, 85.98 per cent male students have cleared the Plus 2 exam in Arts stream.

In the vocational stream, a total of 5, 331 students have cleared the examination with a pass percentage of 86.02 percent. 1,076 students have secured First division in the vocational courses, 1,836 students passed the examination in Second and 2,219 students in Third division.

The pass percentage of girls and male students stood at 88.4 and 83,83 per cent, respectively, this year.

It is pertinent to mention here that that the CHSE had announced the results of Commerce and Science streams on July 31, 2021, as per the Apex Court order.

A total of 94,532 students including 78, 8 99 regular candidates had enrolled for the Plus II examination in the Science stream this year. Out of them, 89, 951 students cleared the Board examination in Science stream. The total pass percentage in Science stream stood at 95.15 percent.

In the Commerce stream, 24,526 students including 21,996 regular candidates had enrolled to appear in the Plus II examinations in Commerce stream. Of the total students, 23,292 students have passed in the Commerce stream. The total pass percentage this year in Commerce stream was 94.96 per cent.
