The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has released the date sheet and guidelines for the conduct of the term end practical examinations of M.Sc (MACS) programme.

In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the School of Sciences will conduct a written examination for the M.Sc. (MACS) laboratory courses from September 22, 2021.

In its circular, IGNOU has advised candidates to check their eligibility for appearing in the upcoming examination.

Here are the details:

The candidates are eligible to appear in these examinations if:

-You have taken admission in the M. Sc. programme in January, 2020 or earlier;

-You are also eligible for appearing in June, 2021 term-end theory examinations held in August 2021 as per SED records.

Conduct of Examination and Pattern of Question Papers:

The examination would be conducted at designated centres and the candidates will be informed in advance by the Regional Centres about your examination centre.

The duration of each Examination will be same as the usual practical examination, i.e 2 hours for MMT-001 (P) and one and a half hours for the other courses.

Candidates will have to write programmes with pen and paper in the answer booklets provided to them and no computer will be provided.

The IGNOU had earlier extended the last date for submission of assignments, project reports, dissertation, field work journal, internship, etc. for Term-End Examination (TEE) 2021 till August 31. Students are advised to visit the official website of IGNOU- www.ignou.ac.in for latest information on IGNOU TEE June 2021.
