The demand to postpone the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate has now grown louder with aspirants now seeking the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

To press for their demand, students took to Twitter and trend hashtags like #PMOHelpNEETUGAspirants, #MODIJIdeferNEETUG and #MODIJIextendNEETUG among others.

Postpone NEET UG because students are in mental pressure, there's no sufficient time for preparation, there is flood in northeast, Covid-19 cases have surged and NEET dates clash with CUET, said a student.

"Students who are preparing for the NEET want it to be postponed. They have said all hopes are gone and have taken to social media platform to put forth their demands. I am really stressed what should I do? Can’t revise! #PMOHelpNEETUGAspirants #MODIJIdeferNEETUG #MODIJIextendNEETUG," wrote a Twitterati.

Another Twitter user wrote, "Modiji request you to please delay the exam by 30 days ,18 lakh NEET UG ASPIRANTS requested you."

"Postpone NEET UG 2022. Don't make so many students suffer! We need proper time to prepare for the examination. It's a national level exam for seats into medical colleges let’s not compare it with school tests. #PMOHelpNEETUGAspirants," an aspirant tweeted.

Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the admit cards for NEET UG 2022  this week or by July 10. While the NTA has already released NEET UG exam city intimation slips, the exam is all set to be conducted on July 17.

Cracking the NEET UG  2022 will help students get admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, Bachelor of Ayurveda, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSc (H) Nursing courses.
