Indira Gandhi National Open University, IGNOU, on Wednesday extended the assignments validity period for MP/MPB courses from six months (one semester) to one year (two semesters). 

Informing about the same, IGNOU tweeted that the extension decision has been taken only after the approval of the competent authority.

"With the approval of the competent authority, the validity period of Assignments has been increased from six months (one semester) to one year (two semesters) for all the courses of existing Management Programmes (MP) - including the Post Graduate Diplomas and all courses of MPB - (MBA - Banking and Finance) as well as new MBA and MPB Programmes," read the official notice.

 

 

Recently, IGNOU released important instructions for candidates interested to take admissions in AICTE-approved management programmes.

IGNOU stated that students applying to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Business Administration (Banking and Finance) (MBF) programmes will be able to submit their applications in the online mode.

The last date for submission of online application is September 15, 2021.

A non-refundable Registration Fee of Rs 200 (unless specified otherwise) shall be charged along with the programme fee of first semester/year at the time of admission. If a student applies for cancellation of admission and refund of fee, the refund request will be considered as per the University policy, the varsity stated.
