After announcing separation with Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan in an Instagram post, Aesha Mukerji has reportedly deleted her old social media account much to the disappointment of the fans.

Aesha had a verified Instagram account named aesha.dhawan5, which Shikhar also used to tag in pictures. Aesha had also shared a lot of her photos with Dhawan on this account. But this account has been deleted some time ago.

Aesha has another Instagram account which she had created last November and it is also followed by Rohit Sharma’s wife Ritika Sajedha. While Aesha is currently active in this account, Dhawan is out of it. The account has many pictures of Aesha, her two daughters and son together. However, not a single picture of Dhawan finds place in the account.

The bio written on this account also caught the attention of fans regarding the soured relationship between them. Aesha has written in her bio that she helps women who have lost their identity and independence.

Earlier, a day before, Aesha had made the announcement about their separation over an Instagram post which started with "I THOUGHT DIVORCE WAS A DIRTY WORD UNTIL I BECAME A 2 TIME DIVORCEE."

The Melbourne-based Aesha was married to an Australian businessman earlier and has two daughters from her previous marriage. She and Dhawan got engaged in 2009 and married in 2012. Aesha is an amateur kick boxer.

"Funny how words can have such powerful meanings and associations. I experienced this first hand as a divorcee. The first time I went through a divorce I was soooooooo f**kn scared. I felt like I had failed and I was doing something so wrong at that time," Aesha had said in the post.

She went on to write, "So now imagine, I have to go through it a second time. Woooahhhhhh. That is terrifying. Being divorced once before already, felt like I had more at stake the second time round. I had more to prove. So when my second marriage broke down it was really scary. All the feelings I felt when I went through it the first time came flooding in. Fear, failure and disappointment x 100."
