Humiliated by his senior officer, Uday Krishna Reddy a police constable from Prakasam district in Andhra Pradhan, resigned from his job and prepared for UPSC. Today, his sheer determination has paved way for his success after Reddy secured an impressive AIR-780 in the recently announced UPSC Civil Services Exam 2023.

According to a report in India Today, Uday Krishna Reddy worked a police constable. His journey to this achievement traces back to a pivotal moment of humiliation. His UPSC journey began after he faced humiliation from a circle inspector, who publicly shamed Reddy over a personal grudge.

The circle inspector humiliated Reddy in front of 60 fellow policemen, leading him to resign from his police job in 2018. He wholeheartedly committed himself to prepare for UPSC and become a bigger officer than the circle inspector.

Recalling the incident, Uday said, “The CI humiliated me in front of 60 policemen. I resigned from the job the same day and started preparing for UPSC Civil Services Exam. I want to become an IAS officer.”

Going by the rank, Uday Krishna Reddy might be assigned to the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), but he says he will continue preparing until he is selected for the Indian Administrative Service.
