The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important notice for the students and parents ahead of the crucial 2023 board examinations.

The CBSE has warned students and other stakeholders to remain alert as some miscreants have created a website resembling the official CBSE website. In its notice, CBSE has stated that the fake website has been created with the address https://cbsegovt.com.

“The fake website and is blatantly duping unsuspecting students, schools and parents by sending messages to deposit money for creating and downloading the admit card for CBSE Class 10 and 12,” said CBSE in its notice.

The board further stated that the general public and stakeholders are hereby cautioned to be extremely careful and not respond to any such fake messages and websites.

“The Board does not take any fees directly from any students or parents for downloading Admit Cards. For any information and updates stakeholders may visit Board official website www.cbse.gov.in only,” the CBSE notice added.

Earlier, the Centre's Press Information Bureau (PIB) had also issued a fraud alert regarding the website which is demanding registration fee from CBSE board exam 2023 candidates.
