The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha has issued a notification regarding renewal as well as fresh application for award of scholarship to meritorious students under central sector scheme.
As per the CHSE notice, the department of Higher Education, government of India has made provision for 2736 number of scholarships under Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students for eligible CHSE pass outs students in Annual H.S Examinations 2021 in Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams.
The selected students will be awarded a scholarship of Rs 10,000 per annum at graduation level for first three years of college and university courses and Rs 20,000 per annum at post graduation level.
Eligible students can apply for the scholarship through the National Scholarship Portal www.scholarships.gov.in. All students, who are eligible for scholarship, need to apply with Aadhaar number which is seeded with Bank Account.
However, students availing any other scholarship are not eligible to avail of this scholarship.
Eligibility for Scholarship:
Students who are above 80th percentile (top 20 percentile) of successful candidates in Annual Higher Secondary Examination-2022 conducted by CHSE, Odisha are eligible to apply.
The last date for submission of online applications for fresh and renewal is October 30, 2021.
