The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to offer industry engagement and technology exposure program for its students.

The program will be implemented in partnership with Microsoft. As per an official statement, Microsoft through its Global Learning Partners will conduct various virtual sessions on technology exposure and industry engagement for students during November and December 2022.

CBSE in a release said that the students will be oriented on themes like technology areas, inspiring industry talks, career insights, entrepreneurship and hands-on exposure to implement their ideas. Apart from this, the students will also have opportunities to work on mini projects as teams, and they will have to submit projects at the end of the program.

“Mini challenges and assignments will be provided to students during the program for continuous assessment and engagement. Students will be given orientation on several tech areas and opportunities to participate at National and International level challenges on Coding/Applications of AI,” said CBSE.

Earlier, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had come up with a circular regarding the special provisions made for students participating in national, international sporting events and international Olympiads.

Five days, two hours per day and time for project work and showcase

On successful completion of the program, certificates will be provided to student.
