Sex racket busted in Odisha's Jeypore; 2 women rescued, 3 pimps arrested

In a significant breakthrough, a major sex trafficking network was uncovered in Jeypore, a town in the Koraput district of Odisha. The police operation unearthed illicit activities running out of a lodge located prominently on the main road of the town.

In a meticulously coordinated operation, local police apprehended two women, along with a customer and three employees from the lodge where the activities were allegedly conducted. As per reports, the operation took place at a prime lodge located on Jeypore's main thoroughfare.

On-site Raids and Arrests:

Two young women have been rescued while the police have detained one customer along with three employees of the lodge for interrogation. The individuals are currently undergoing questioning as part of the ongoing investigation to determine the scale and mechanics of this illegal business.

Recently, the Jeypore police conducted a raid on a residential property and arrested a landlady and three others involved in running a sex trafficking operation. Likewise, authorities had also rescued victims and seized incriminating evidence from a lodge a few months ago.
