Singhadwara Police Station
A servitor of Puri Srimandir has been arrested by the Police on charges of molesting a minor girl in the premises of the 12th-century shrine.

The incident reportedly occurred two days ago (Wednesday) when the minor girl visited the Srimandir for a darshan. She was allegedly molested near the Baman temple inside the Srimandir premise by a servitor.

The accused servitor has been detained by the Singhadwara Police following a complaint by the family members of the minor. The Child Welfare Committee (CWC) has been informed by the police.
The accused is being questioned in this connection and details would be obtained only after the Police completed the investigation.
