An intense search operation is currently underway in the Ratanpur village of Puri district, where a minor, Ashirbad, has been missing for the past three days. The disappearance has sparked widespread discussions and concerns, with locals speculating whether the child has been abducted or if he went missing voluntarily. 

The mystery surrounding the case has created a tense atmosphere in the village, as residents anxiously await news of the child's whereabouts.

Manas Sahoo, father of the missing child, said, “I urge the Odisha government to search for my son. Everything can be made possible if the administration wants.”

Police Intensify Probe

The police have launched a thorough investigation based on the complaint filed by the family. Surveillance footage from CCTV cameras placed at various entry points in Delang, the region where the village is located, is being closely examined by authorities. 

Additionally, four investigative teams, led by the Pipili Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), have been formed to delve deeper into the case.

In an effort to trace the minor, officials from the Cyber Cell have started mobile tracking, working alongside the Dog Squad to gather clues. 

The investigation teams have visited Ashirbad's home to gather further information and assess the situation from every possible angle. Law enforcement agencies from multiple districts of the state have also been alerted, and police raids are ongoing in an attempt to uncover any leads regarding the child's disappearance.

The authorities are working tirelessly, and the Pipili SDPO has expressed confidence that they will quickly capture the suspect and recover the missing minor. The police are urging the public to remain calm and patient while they continue their investigation and search efforts. With the investigation progressing, the hope remains high that the child will be found safe and the responsible party will be apprehended soon.

Debasish Mishra, SDPO said, “We have taken up the case seriously. We have constituted multiple teams and are analysing CCTV footage and other aspects as well as his behaviour in school. We are trying to locate him at the earliest.”
