Jindal manager found dead in guesthouse, murder suspected

A top executive of Jindal Steel and Power Limited was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a guesthouse of the company in Sundargarh district on Monday morning. 

Motiram Pal, a logistics manager of the company, was found dead in a pool of blood at the company’s guesthouse located near Barsuan under Lahunipada police limits.

As per sources, Pal had been living alone in the guesthouse. A worker went to the guesthouse to serve tea in the morning and found the body of Pal lying in a pool of blood. The worker then informed the company authorities who subsequently intimated the police.   

The police have reached the spot and launched a probe into the case. It was suspected that Pal was beaten to death. However, the exact cause of death has not been established yet.

The company authorities have informed the family members of the deceased who live in another state.
