Aryan Khan To Stay In Jail Till Oct 20
A Special NDPS court today in Mumbai on Thursday reserved order for October 20 on the bail application of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan who was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on connection with a drug bust on a cruise ship on October 3.
As per reports, Judge V V Patil reserved his order on the bail plea of Aryan Khan. The judge, after hearing a marathon argument by the defence counsel and Assistant Solicitor General (ASG) Anil Singh, said that he will try to give the order on October 20, after Dussehra.
Aryan and the other co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha will remain in judicial custody at the Arthur Road Central Jail and the Byculla Women's Jail for the next five days on account of public holidays over the next few days.
Aryan Khan, along with 7 others, was arrested on October 3 in connection with the seizure of drugs on board the cruise ship off Mumbai coast. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has so far arrested 20 people in the case.
Aryan, who was lodged in a a separate cell at the Arthur Road Jail pending the report on the Covid test carried out on him and other accused, was shifted to a regular cell after the reports came negative today.
