Commissionerate Police Launches Helpline Number To Redress Grievances Of Senior Citizens

In a bid to redress the grievances of senior citizens in the Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, the Commissionerate Police introduced a helpline number on Tuesday

Bhubaneswar: In a bid to redress the grievances of senior citizens in the Twin Cities of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar, the Commissionerate Police introduced a helpline number on Tuesday.

The helpline number is- 8093028100.

According to a release issued by the Twin City police, on receipt of calls from senior citizens, Police Commissioner will immediately intervene into the matter and take necessary steps to resolve the problem.

If the problem related to other department, Commissioner of Police himself approaches the concerned department and resolves the problem, the release read.

Commissionerate Police is calling around 60 to 70 senior citizens daily for redressal of their problems. Till today, more than 250 Senior Citizens have been contacted, the release stated.
