In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old boy shot his parents and two siblings to death because he believed they were ‘cannibals’ and were planning to eat him. The incident has been reported from Texas, US.
According to CBS News, the accused Cesar Olalde has been arrested on the charges of capital murder of multiple people, including his 5-year-old brother.
The matter came to the fore after the accused called the cops and informed that he had pulled the trigger and shot his family. Cops reached his home and persuaded him to surrender following which the bodies of his parents, Reuben Olalde and Aida Garcia, older sister Lisbet Olalde and younger brother Oliver were recovered from a bathroom.
A preliminary probe revealed the victims had been shot at various places inside their residence. The accused had later dragged the bodies to the bathroom.
“There was blood spatter on multiple surfaces on the floor of the house and multiple spent catridge casting were also found,” the cops said as per the outlet.
A co-worker of his elder sister had also visited the house because she had not gone to work. However, the accused allegedly pointed a gun at him and threatened him.
“He had killed his family because he believed they were cannibals, and they were going to eat him,” the co-worker told the cops that the accused had said to him.
As per New York Post, the accused has been ordered jailed on $10 million bond and the investigation remains ongoing.
