Tragic road mishaps claim 4 lives in Odisha
Tragic road mishaps claimed four lives on Friday in two separate incidents in Odisha. In the first incident, an accident claimed the lives of three individuals near the Chandrapada area under the jurisdiction of the Boipareiguda police station.
The incident occurred when a car, en route from Nayagarh to Malkangiri, veered off the road and hit a tree after the driver lost control on the vehicle. The vehicle was carrying six occupants at the time of the accident.
Three of the passengers died in the mishap, while three others have sustained critical injuries. They have been admitted to a nearby hospital and are receiving medical attention.
Fatal Hit-and-Run in Balasore
In a separate incident in Balasore district, a young man was killed when an unidentified vehicle struck him near Bindhapadmapur on the Jaleswar road. His body was found on the roadside, with the Marine police launching an investigation to ascertain the vehicle involved.
