In a shocking incident, a drunk man ran over his car on several people and hit multiple vehicles on Sunday evening at a busy junction in Odisha Capital city Bhubaneswar.
As per reports, the man in an inebriated condition was driving his car from Rupali Square towards Vani Vihar square.
At first the vehicle hit several two-wheelers near Saheed Nagar Puja Mandap and then continued its road rage near Sparsh Hospital and knocked many two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws on its way.

The speeding vehicle created panic near Saheed Nagar Market area at around 8.30pm.
After learning about the incident, the police chased the unruly car. However, locals overpowered the drunk driver after he hit the vehicles near Sparsh Hospital and hit him black and blue.
An eyewitness said, "The speeding car hit several vehicles parked on roadside and finally smacked on a dustbin before coming to a halt. The driver managed to escape unhurt because of the airbags. But he had sustained injuries and was bleeding. Meanwhile, a PCR vehicle arrived on the spot and captured him while he was trying to flee the spot."
"I was driving my auto towards Rupali Square to drop a passenger. Meanwhile, the speeding car rushed towards me from the opposite direction and hit my auto. The car was running at around 200km/hr speed and by then it had created a rampage on road by hitting several vehicles that came in its way," a victim auto driver said.
As many as 8 persons were injured in the road accident. All of them were taken to a hospital for first-aid treatment.
