Yash Raj Banners have been known to bring big stars together so that their films make a bigger impact. Be it the collaboration of Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff for War last year or the Dhoom franchise when Abhishek Bachchan played the lead protagonist whereas other superstars like Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan were brought in as the main antagonists. YRF has been successful in such multi-star projects which is why it is now keen to repeat this success formula.
According to reports, Aditya Chopra who currently helms the Yash Raj Films wants Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor on board for a big-budget movie. Currently, Ranbir is busy with Brahmastra and Shamshera. In Brahmastra he is working with big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Shah Rukh Khan, and his lady love Alia Bhatt. For Shamshera he will team up with YRF’s muse Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt.
Aamir Khan & Ranbir Kapoor Film To Release In 2024?
The news source has said that the new movie with Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan will release in 2024 and the shooting will start in 2022. Aamir Khan is known to focus on one movie at a time and currently, he is busy in Lal Singh Chadha with Kareena Kapoor. Now with the lockdown delaying the shooting of the flick, the release date might get delayed further.
The last movie of Aamir Khan Thugs of Hindostan was released in 2018 which also starred Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan. But the movie failed at the box-office. However, Aamir Khan’s double role in YRF’s Dhoom 3 was loved by all. There has been no revelation about the story or the plot of the movie. But there is a strong possibility that the film will have either Katrina Kaif or Vaani Kapoor in the lead as these two are currently the hot favorites of Yash Raj banners.
