Deepika Padukone MS Dhoni Dating Rumors-Were They True?
Years ago there were rumors that Deepika and Mahi were dating each other. However, things changed between the two as Yuvraj Singh came in between. Bollywood actresses dating cricket stars is nothing new. While some pairs did reach the altar most of them faded after a few years.
But this particular affair attracted a lot of attention and continues to be discussed even now because of the alleged involvement of Yuvi. According to rumors Dhoni and Deepika grew very close to each other after meeting at a few events and were about to get engaged.
These rumors were fuelled further when Dhoni admitted having a crush on the actress in an interview. Reportedly he had even asked Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan so that Deepika Padukone MS Dhoni could meet.
Reports also say that the former Indian captain even asked his crush to watch his match. And she gladly obliged because the media clicked Deepika Padukone cheering Mahi from the stands.
However, things changed after Yuvraj Singh too started taking interest in her. Reportedly, Mahendra Singh Dhoni sacrificed his love for his friendship and distanced himself from Deepika.
But time and again MS has denied his linkup with Deepika Padukone. The famous cricketer even denied cutting his long hair at the request of the actress. Mahi said that it was the media that linked Deepika Padukone MS Dhoni together after they were spotted together at a few events.
On chopping his hair Mahi said, "I felt the need for a new one which is the reason why I chopped off my long locks."
Currently, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is living happily with wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. Similarly, Deepika married Ranveer Singh two years ago.
