‘The Ba**ds of Bollywood’ fame Lakshya Lalwani opens up on his pain after Dostana 2 setback

Lakshya Lalwani, riding high on the success of Kill and Aryan Khan’s debut web series The Ba**ds of Bollywood, has now shared his candid feelings about Dostana 2 being shelved.

Speaking to Raj Shamani on his podcast, Lakshya revealed the emotional toll it took when multiple projects were put on hold.

“I felt blank and numb,” he confessed. “Who do I blame? God, or Karan Johar? I can’t blame anyone, na. The film got shelved, and that’s it. 

For some reason, I had the self-belief that it was happening for a reason. Tables would turn one day.” His words reflect both vulnerability and a quiet optimism despite the setbacks.

Dostana 2 Is Back on Track

Dostana 2 had reportedly been shelved following a fallout between Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan. The news spread quickly, disappointing fans and leaving the cast in uncertainty. 

However, years later, Karan Johar and Kartik reconciled professionally, paving the way for the revival of Dostana 2. The project now stars Vikrant Massey alongside Lakshya Lalwani, bringing renewed hope for fans eagerly awaiting the film.

Fame Soars with The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Lakshya’s breakthrough came with Kill, but it was his role in The Ba**ds of Bollywood that made him a household name. 

In the web series, he plays Aasman, an outsider navigating the challenges of Bollywood while striving to make a mark. His performance has been widely appreciated, showcasing his talent and versatility, and solidifying his position as one of the promising young actors in the industry.
