The actor said that he has no issues with Salman copying the scene and added that he is indeed happy that his movies inspire people from the industry.
"I believe the credit goes to Aditya Chopra and he has all the reasons to be flattered. But it`s nice as I want to make people smile with my movies and if my films in turn inspire them, I am happy about it," Shah Rukh told reporters.
"I feel movies like Maine Pyar Kiya and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge changed the entire scene of romantic movies in 90s," he said.
Apparently there is a buzz that Salman shot a scene similar to the one in DDLJ, in which Raj (Shah Rukh) pulls Simran (Kajol) aboard a moving train, with London belle Hazel Keech for Bodyguard. The scene was reportedly shot recently at Mumbai Central station.
The 24-year old Hazel, who hails from London and is of Indian-British parentage, makes her Bollywood debut with the film.
Bodyguard is a romantic-action film directed by Siddique.
A remake of the director`s own 2010 Malayalam film, Bodyguard is being produced by Atul Agnihotri and stars Salman and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles.
The film is slated to release on August 31 this year.
