Rhea’s absence confused a lot of fans who are now questioning the real intention of the actress demanding CBI inquiry in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Just a week ago the alleged girlfriend of Sushant shared back to back posts on Twitter. Through her tweets, she requested the Home Minister of India, Amit Shah to hand over the case of her boyfriend to CBI.
In her tweet, she wrote, “I’m Sushant Singh Rajputs girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, it is now over a month since his sudden demise I have complete faith in the government, however in the interest of justice, I request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI inquiry. Request you with folded hands to initiate a CBI inquiry into this matter. I only want to understand what pressures, prompted Sushant to take this step”.

Rhea’s Stand Disappointed Sushant’s Fans
For more than a month after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput Rhea kept quiet. Even when she was interrogated by the Bandra police for long hours, the actress did not reveal a thing to media or on her social media accounts. Threats and abusive comments forced Rhea to close her comments section on social media. However, as the girlfriend of Sushant fans expected her to stand up, support the movement demanding justice for the late actor. After all, she had confirmed that Sushant was going to marry her by the end of 2020.
But instead of joining hands with the likes of Roopa Ganguly, Shekhar Suman, and Kangana Ranaut, she opted to stay away from it all. After keeping mum for such a long time finally Rhea did break her silence demanding CBI inquiry for Sushant. At that moment fans thought finally the actress is being loyal to Sushant. They expected her to light a candle in support of the digital protest.
Why Rhea Chakraborty Did Not Support #Candle4SSR?
It disappointed fans not to see Rhea supporting the cause which is so important to ensure justice for Sushant Singh Rajput. Many believe that she is operating on the directions of some bigwigs in Bollywood including Mahesh Bhatt. Rumors continue to churn that her outburst on July 16 for Sushant demanding the inquiry was also a well-planned strategy. Someone allegedly asked her to make the tweet because well-known politician Subramanian Swamy decided to look into the matter, writing a letter to the Indian prime minister.
Also, there are a few who believe that she is afraid of Bollywood mafia and losing good opportunities. Hence she remained quiet until now. No one knows what forced the Jalebi star to keep her lips sealed. But unless and until Rhea Chakraborty clarifies or responds fans will continue to doubt her intentions.
