'Saaho' starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead was a multilingual film. It was a must-watch movie for Prabhas fans as it was the superstar's first flick after the back to back Baahubali movies. According to reports, now fans will get their biggest treat of this year as the movie is all set to premiere worldwide on television this Vijayadashmi.
The channel that is to air the movie has already confirmed the TV premiere of Saaho. However, they are yet to confirm the official date which most probably will be 25 October.
Most of the Telugu entertainment channels have already lined up blockbuster movies for Dussehra. Prabhas being one of the biggest stars from Tollywood, Saaho is sure to attract a lot of viewership.
Did Prabhas Fail To Impress Bollywood Fans with Saaho?
The movie directed by Sujeeth starred some of the famous B-town names including Shraddha Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, and Chunkey Pandey. Saaho also had Jacqueline Fernandez doing an item number.
After Baahubali made Prabhas a household name across India the Tollywood superstar has been eyeing an impressive run in Bollywood.
Saaho was a part of this ambition and hence the high-budgeted commercial potboiler was made both in Telugu and Hindi. Released in the theaters in 2019, it became one of the biggest hits of the year. But it did not help Prabhas to achieve the stardom he expected in Bollywood.
While his fan following in South India continues to increase, he will require a few more hits to consolidate his position as a big star in the tinsel town. And that is why most of his upcoming movies have Bollywood stars.
Radhe Shyam has Pooja Hegde who is a popular name in Bollywood. He will pair with Deepika Padukone in Nag Ashwin's next. Tanhaji fame Om Raut is working with Prabhas in his next movie Adipurush which most probably has Anushka Sharma in the female lead.
Saif Ali Khan has already given a nod to portray the lead antagonist in Adipurush.
