In the wake of Coronavirus outbreak in the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced 21-days nationwide lockdown as an initiative to break the chain and prevent the transmission of deadly COVID-19. PM Modi had urged every citizen to stay back in home-isolation to prevent community spread. The lockdown drive was applauded and received massive support from several quarters. Several Bollywood celebs also extended their support for the lockdown on their social media handles. To stay in touch with their fans, several actors have been sharing different activities on their social media handles. Kartik Aaryan
Actor Kartik Aaryan has been unleashing his humorous side amidst coronavirus lockdown. On Sunday, he posted a video that shows him standing on the top of a car and waving his hand to the gathered crowd.
But more than the video, it was his caption that left netizens in splits.
"Aaj sapna aaya ki mujhe vaccine mil gayi hai," he joked.

Reacting to the post, a user commented: "Biotechnology jo padha hai bhai ne."
And Kartik was too quick to respond back.

Alia Bhatt
After spending time in honing her writing skills a few days back, Alia Bhatt now seems to have developed a culinary knack to pass her lockdown hours. The actress baked a grain free paleo banana bread on Saturday.

Not just Alia, her sister Shaheen also took part in baking activity. She a chocolate cake.
Sharing the photographs of the bread and the cake on Instagram, Alia wrote: "Stayed home & .. baked a little with the sister @shaheenb made the real chocolate cake & I made the grain free paleo banana bread."
Commenting on Alia's post, Jacqueline Fernandez wrote: "Yum".
Kriti Sanon asked Alia for tips and commented: "Was just gonna attempt the same today. Wish me luck. And any tips?"
Alia and Shaheen's mother Soni Razdan commented: "Still waiting for my share."
Huma Qureshi also asked for the recipe.
Meanwhile, reports claim that Alia might be tying the knot with rumoured boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor around December end. The wedding will reportedly be hosted in Mumbai unlike many B-Towners who have opted for exotic destination weddings in recent times.

Kareena Kapoor Khan
Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan ditched designers' jewellery to wear a necklace made by her little son, Taimur.
On Saturday, the "Jab We Met" actress took to her Instagram and posted a picture in which she is seen wearing a necklace made out of pasta. And the innovative homemade accessory is created by none other than the three-year-old Taimur.
Flaunting the jewellery, Kareena wrote: "Pasta la vista. Handmade Jewellery by Taimur Ali Khan."

Actress Taapsee Pannu is utilising the lockdown time to experiment with her looks.
Taapsee took to Instagram, where she uploaded a photograph of herself with her new hairstyle. She chose to cut her tresses and is now sporting a chic bob.

Rakul Preet Singh
Amid the lockdown due to the coronavirus crisis, actress Rakul Preet Singh is helping over 200 families living in a slum close to her home in Gurugram. She says that it is a "small effort" to express her gratitude.
The actress along with her parents, Kulwinder Singh and Rajender, is sending packets of home-cooked food to them.
"My dad figured this entire slum where people are completely out of their basics. We are facilitating two meals a day for all those people and we have decided to do it till the time the lockdown is in place,a Rakul said.
"If the lockdown gets pushed further, I will keep doing that. For now, I have committed till the month of April and then we will see depending on the situation. The food would be cooked at a place in my society and will be sent out to those people," she added.
The actress said that everyone should be doing their bit especially during this time.
"It is very important to understand that many of us are privileged. We have a house, help, food, ability to stack up in case of emergency but this is when you give it to the society. For me, nothing can give me more happiness than the smiles on these people's faces when they will eat their meal. And that will make me extremely happy," she said, adding: "So that's my way of expressing my gratitude for everything I have and it is a very small effort. Whoever can make a difference should, because I truly believe in giving back to society."

Unable to hit the gym owing to the nationwide COID-19 lockdown, Preity Zinta has been using her pet pup Bruno as a weight while performing biceps curls. The actress claims this workout increases jaw strength in dogs!
Preity shared a hilarious video on Instagram where she can be seen trying to workout with her dog and wrote: "Nothing like an improvised workout. Shilpa Shetty Kundra has entered into a barter deal with her son. The deal is her son Viaan will give her a body massage in return of which she will bake him a a two-layer cake.
In a video shared by the actress on Instagram, Shilpa explains the meaning of a barter to her seven-year-old, who is giving her a body massage. In exchange for the massage, the boy immediately asks for a cake baked by his mom. He also instructs her to make it double layered.
"Had no idea my mom was shooting this... but she managed to capture such a priceless moment. Watching this video made me realise it's such a blessing to have kids and also have these important conversations with your child. Ha ha ha one who can be your friend too!" Shilpa captioned the video.

Singer Kailash Kher was set to play live from his home on April 5 for fans but he has moved the date. He now plans to bring together various music artistes for a series of virtual concerts.

However, the virtual concert was pushed.
"The virtual concert planned for April 5 has been pushed. Though there will be a big announcement by me and some of the eminent singers of the nation," he said.
But, now there is a good news for his fans.
"Since my virtual concert was announced yesterday (April 3), there has been an overwhelming outpouring of support from the industry, the media and the people. Several artistes and musicians have expressed their willingness to join the movement 'Prakash Alokan' and spread the light through our music and art forms," said the "Teri deewani" hitmaker.
"We are now planning a series of virtual concerts that will see the nation's artistes coming together," he added.
