Rhea Chakraborty Is In Single Cell Over Security Reasons
According to reports, the officials have put the Jalebi actress in a single room due to security reasons. Since she is the prime accused in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, fellow prisoners might attack her. Moreover, sadist prisoners are more likely to harass her since she is currently in the spotlight. Her closest neighbor is the high profile prisoner Indrani Mukerjea who has a history of cheating and murder allegations. That is one more reason for keeping Rhea in a single room and not along with other inmates.
Two constables guard her round the clock in three shifts. Many times on request the court grants permission for certain privileges like fan or bed. However, Rhea Chakraborty is yet to ask for such facilities. She has been given a chatai (mat) for sleeping but no pillow or bed. Moreover, there is no fan. The officials said that she may be provided a table fan if the court orders for it.
After a few cases of COVID-19 surfaced in Byculla jail, the officials are now taking good care of the inmates. Every night the prisoners are given turmeric milk to build heir immunity.
Officials Checked Rhea's Blood Pressure, Sugar Level After Her Entry in Byculla
Yesterday after her entry in Byculla jail the health officials checked blood pressure, sugar level, and pulse of the actress. According to the source, all her reports were normal. The bag she was carrying was kept outside while she rested inside her single room. The officials handed things Rhea needed from the bag in a small polyethylene bag. Her bag included a dental kit, a few clothes, and things of everyday essential.
Yesterday evening she ate two chapattis, a bowl of rice, a bowl of dal, and one sabzi. Byculla jail has a canteen where inmates can purchase biscuits and other daily need items.
NCB officials arrested Rhea Chakraborty on Tuesday on drug charges in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's death investigation. The officials have taken her under custody for 14 days. However, today her lawyer Satish Maneshinde appealed for her bail. But the court denied it today.
